Chiang Rai, November 29th, 2024<\/strong> \u2013 True Corporation<\/strong>, in collaboration with Charoen Pokphand Group<\/strong> and the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC)<\/strong>, along with various sectors in Wiang Pa Pao District, has undertaken the restoration of Pangiew Wittaya School in Wiang Pa Pao District, Chiang Rai Province. The school was severely affected by a major flood crisis in September. This initiative is part of the ongoing \u201cTrue Across Thailand: Flood Relief\u201d project, which invited True employees to contribute donations, including educational supplies, sports equipment, and other essential items. Dr. Naetchanok Wipatasinlapin, Head of Strategy Division at True Corporation<\/strong>, along with executives from True and the Charoen Pokphand Group, as well as volunteer employees<\/strong>, represented the organization in delivering the donations. The support also included financial assistance amounting to 200,000 THB for school restoration. The handover ceremony was attended by Dr. Pranom Jorakate, Principal of Pangiew Wittaya School; Mr. Phongsak Phetkhongkaew, Wiang Pa Pao District Chief; and Dr. Phuthorn Chanthahong Punyaratthamrong, Assistant Secretary-General of OBEC<\/strong>. Over 450 students and community members were present to witness the event. Additionally, volunteer teams participated in painting fences and building walls, restoring the school, and upgrading the computer room systems to ensure they are fully operational.<\/p>\n

Dr. Naetchanok Wipatasinlapin, Head of Strategy Division at True Corporation<\/strong>, stated, \u201cThe recent flooding crisis has significantly impacted all sectors, including education, which True Corporation has continuously prioritized and supported. Many schools in affected areas have suffered severe damage and urgently require restoration. Schools are vital learning spaces, which is why our True Corporation volunteer team took the initiative to deliver donated educational supplies and sports gears from our employees to Pangiew Wittaya School. This small, remote school was heavily affected, and our team helped repaint the school\u2019s fences, refresh the kindergarten building walls, and improve the overall landscape to create a more vibrant and welcoming environment. We also provided financial support for school restoration and sent our ICT Talent team to repair and restore the computer systems to full functionality. This mission has received outstanding collaboration from all sectors in Chiang Rai Province, united in the shared goal of restoring normalcy to the region. Together, we aim to provide young learners with a safe and high-quality learning environment, contributing to building a society that grows sustainably.\u201d<\/p>\n

As part of the restoration activities at Pangiew Wittaya School, executives and volunteer teams from True Corporation collaborated to enhance the school\u2019s environment.
