Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, February 26, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 Charoen Pokphand Group and True Corporation have organized the Plookpanya Dharma Camp, a key initiative under True Littlemonk Project, Thailand\u2019s first live-streamed Buddhist reality program. Now in its 11th<\/sup> season, this year\u2019s theme is \u201cGratitude and Virtue\u201d. From over 6,000 applicants nationwide, 30 boys aged 7\u201312 have been selected as finalists to participate in moral and ethical training, community service, and recreational activities, accompanied by their parents. The camp was being held at Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU) in Wang Noi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya.<\/p>\n

The event was honored by the presence of Phra Thepphawaramedhi, Ph.D., Vice-Rector for Administration at MCU<\/strong>, who delivered a Dharma talk to inspire both the young participants and their parents. Dr. Naetchanok Wipatasinlapin<\/strong>, Head of Strategy and Education Division of True Corporation Plc and Director of the True Little Monk Project<\/strong>, also provided an overview of the program to ensure parents fully understand its purpose and significance.<\/p>\n

During the three-day, two-night camp, the 30 young participants engaged in moral and ethical training, experiencing life as novice monks, including observing precepts, waking early, chanting, meditating, and learning Buddhist teachings from monks. They also practiced fasting for dinner, simulating the discipline of real novices. Meanwhile, parents attended expert-led sessions on child-rearing and adolescent psychology.<\/p>\n

In addition, each participant was also interviewed by a panel of judges to assess their readiness and commitment to ordination. Following these evaluations, 12 finalists will be chosen as True Little Monk Season 11. These 12 novices will undergo a one-month ordination and training at Tawee Dharma Meditation Center (Rai Saeng Ngam) in Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima. The live broadcast of the program will air from April 20 to May 18, 2025, on True Plookpanya (True Visions 37 & 111), True Visions Reality HD (119 & 333), the Truelittlemonk app, and TrueID. The final 12 novices will be revealed on March 24, 2025, via True ID, www.truelittlemonk.com<\/a>, www.facebook.com\/truelittlemonkthailand<\/a> and https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@truelittlemonk<\/a>.<\/p>\n
