June 9, 2025<\/strong> – True Corporation jointly supports the 2nd Army Region through Suranaree Forces in areas of responsibility along the Thai-Cambodia border by deploying Cells on Wheels (COW) mobile base stations to enhance signals or upgrade towers, along with installing dedicated Small Cell antennas to cover Thai military positions for security missions and communications as follows:<\/p>\n

    Mr. Chakkrit\u00a0Urairat, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, True Corporation Plc<\/strong> said <\/strong>that “We fully support Thai soldiers in carrying out security missions along the Thai-Cambodia border. Our team received coordination requests for additional signals from the Royal Thai Army, and True Corporation deployed survey teams and installed Cells on Wheels (COW) in military areas since June 6, adding multiple communication efficiency solutions for Thai military operations. All coverage is exclusively for Thai military stationed areas, while emphasizing strict mobile signal suspension measures in cooperation with government-MDES-NBTC to prevent unauthorized signal usage and completely cut off call center gang circuits for Thai people’s safety.”<\/p>\n

    Previously, True Corporation has strictly implemented NBTC office measures by switching off signals along Thai borders and conducting removal or directional adjustments to prevent unauthorized usage in risk areas, including areas adjacent to Cambodia, completed in June 2024 to prevent mobile phone usage in cross-border crimes, particularly call center fraud.
