Given these findings, True strongly cautions the public not to be misled by offers on social media to become a \u201cSIM-mule.\u201d Both the hirer and the registrant are subject to prosecution under the Royal Decree on Measures for the Prevention and Suppression of Technology Crimes B.E. 2566(2023)\u00a0 as amended by the Royal Decree (No.2) B.E. 2568 (2025).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Legal Penalties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Both hirers and registrants face criminal liability if involved in \u201cSIM-mule\u201d activities.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Hirers:<\/strong> up to 5 years\u2019 imprisonment and a fine of up to THB 500,000.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Registrants:<\/strong> up to 3 years\u2019 imprisonment and a fine of up to THB 300,000.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>True strongly cautions everyone: never participate in such schemes.
