A Network Operations War Room has been activated from today through January 5, 2026, covering the extended public holiday period after the government designated January 2 as an additional public holiday. The aim is to ensure consistent signal quality throughout nationwide travel and celebrations, with a particular focus on CNN\u2019s live New Year\u2019s Eve 2025 broadcast from ICONSIAM, selected as CNN\u2019s Asia-Pacific broadcast hub.<\/p>\n

According to True Corporation\u2019s Mobility Data from the previous New Year holiday period (2024\u20132025), interprovincial travel increased sharply. The Northeast led inbound travel, up 13%, followed by the North at 7%, the West at 4%, and the South at 3%. Outbound travel from Bangkok reached 18%, while the Eastern region rose 9%, reflecting urban residents\u2019 preference to return home or travel upcountry during the New Year.<\/p>\n
