More importantly, it becomes a source of power that can be transformed into value for others and meaningful change for society.

This Pride Month, True invites everyone to see diversity as more than acceptance of differences. Through the Beyond Your Best campaign, diversity is celebrated as a force that enables people to create real value for customers, colleagues, communities, and society. The campaign is built on the belief that a workplace should not only allow people to be the best version of themselves, but also empower them to use their identity, beliefs, and potential to make a meaningful impact on those around them. When people are truly able to be themselves, they do not stop at personal growth but also become ready to create purpose and value for others as well.

Here are the stories of four True employees from different roles and life paths, demonstrating how individuality whether shaped by life experiences, empathy, understanding of people, or deep connections to local communities can become a small but meaningful force for positive change every day.

Turning Life Struggles into Opportunities for Others

“Because I once went through difficult times myself, I know just how much an opportunity can mean to someone’s life.” Sompop Sanjuy, a Projects Development specialist with TruePlookpanya team, begins by reflecting on his own challenging journey.

Beyond Your Best_Sompop

“I’ve experienced it all from working as a waiter at Suan Lum Night Bazaar, sleeping in a hot tin-roof workers’ shelter during the day, and working night shifts at 7-Eleven to pay for my education. I fought through everything because I wanted a better life.” These experiences became the driving force behind his commitment to creating opportunities and improving quality of life for others.

During his 16 years with True, Somphop has grown through multiple roles from accounting, which he studied in university, to event management and now CSR initiatives focused on developing the potential and improving the quality of life of autistic individuals and their families. One of the major projects he oversees, originally initiated by Suphachai Chearavanont, has become widely recognized both inside and outside the organization.

Working with the TruePlookpanya team, Somphop feels fortunate to have supportive leaders and colleagues who encourage his ideas. He has helped create numerous opportunities that have changed lives.

One project he is especially proud of is the “Autistic Community Bank”, which was developed from his experience working with communities. The project provides revolving funds and welfare support for families of autistic individuals.

“This project wasn’t part of the original plan. But after spending time in the field, we realized that financial management was a critical issue. Even if people have potential, without financial resources or future support systems, daily life can still be difficult.”

This insight led to a partnership with the Autistic Thai Foundation to establish the first Autistic Community Bank in Phitsanulok Province.

The project’s impact became especially evident during the COVID-19 pandemic, when savings and welfare support from the community bank helped many families navigate difficult times. Today, the initiative has expanded to six locations nationwide, with more than 7 million baht circulating within the system.

Although Somphop has received numerous awards for his dedication, he values something even more.

“Whenever I visit communities or attend meetings, people always greet me warmly.
