<\/p>\nOn the morning of September 18, 2026, True drones appeared at five key destinations across Bangkok. From the rooftop of ICONSIAM, along the riverside with Wat Arun in the background, to True Alpha Hub in the heart of Siam Square, the drones were on a mission to deliver iPhone 18 Pro to some of the first customers, in what True calls an \u201cExtraordinary Delivery.\u201d<\/p>\n
Behind these striking images was the latest mission of True SkyBridge, an autonomous air logistics platform developed by True\u2019s Research and Innovation Center. More importantly, the mission served as a proof point that its flight operating platform can successfully expand across industries, from Healthcare to Smart Logistics.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe started with a difficult but meaningful challenge, delivering medicines and medical supplies to areas that are difficult to access,\u201d said Ekaraj Panjavinin, Head of Research and Innovation, True Corporation Plc., describing the origins of True SkyBridge.<\/p>\n
True SkyBridge is an Autonomous Air Logistics Platform designed to support drones from multiple brands, using AI to manage flight data and fully integrated safety systems on True\u2019s intelligent network.<\/p>\n
The platform was initially tested for Healthcare Logistics in remote and high risk areas. In August, True SkyBridge also took part in an emergency response mission in a disaster affected area in Nan Province. The latest mission marked the next step, expanding the platform into an urban environment and Commercial Logistics.<\/p>\n
\u201cTrue SkyBridge in this mission is not simply about using drones to deliver iPhones and create a special experience for customers. It is about proving that the Technology Platform can truly scale across industries. This is a step toward Smart Logistics and creating new experiences for our customers,\u201d Ekaraj emphasized.<\/p>\n

Behind the simultaneous autonomous operation of multiple drones in an urban environment filled with high rise buildings, dense populations and complex safety requirements was extensive preparation.
\nThe team planned every aspect of the operation, from the initial preparation through the actual mission day, supported by intensive flight rehearsals.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe team had to conduct detailed surveys of the flight routes, including drone takeoff and landing areas, buildings, obstacles, safety requirements, regulations and communication systems, to ensure that every element could work together. This also included securing all necessary flight permissions correctly and completely,\u201d Ekaraj explained, providing a closer look at the work behind the mission.<\/p>\n
On the day of the operation, the team arrived at the locations as early as 5:00 a.m. Five teams were deployed across the designated coordinates to coordinate people, drones, network connectivity, AI data and mission control systems.
\nThe teams also prepared contingency plans to respond to unexpected situations that could arise during the operation.<\/p>\n
\u201cSafety must always come first. The team designed both the primary system and contingency plans in advance to be ready for every situation, including changes in weather conditions and technical issues. AI works together with the Command Center to help manage these situations with the highest possible level of accuracy and safety.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nFrom mission planning, route planning and flight monitoring to drone fleet management and handling situations during operations, the platform is designed to operate autonomously. This reduces reliance on Manual Control while preparing the system to support larger and more complex missions in the future.<\/p>\n
\nTrue5G serves as an essential infrastructure layer for Autonomous Logistics, transmitting location data, flight status, telemetry and drone imagery back to the Command Center in real time. This enables both human operators and intelligent systems to maintain continuous visibility of the mission and its operating environment.<\/p>\n
\nAI serves as the brain of the platform. It analyzes data, plans and adjusts flight routes, manages missions and drone fleets, and supports safety related decision making. The goal is not simply Autonomous Flight, but a transition toward Intelligent Autonomous Operations.<\/p>\n
