What is Number Retention Service?

Number Retention Service is a service for Prepaid mobile customers that helps “keep your mobile number active” when your validity period has expired but you still have a remaining balance. This service allows you to keep your existing phone number and resume usage later without buying a new SIM

This service is provided in accordance with regulations set by the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) effective 13 May 2026 onwards.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Principle of the Number Retention Service
    This Number Retention Service is available to prepaid mobile subscribers of TrueMove H, provided by True Move H Universal Communication Co., Ltd. (the “Company”), whose service validity has expired while a remaining balance is still available in the system. The purpose of this service is to preserve the subscriber’s right to retain and continue using the mobile number within the specified period.
  2. Service Commencement and Prior Notification
    • 2.1 Upon expiration of the service validity period, if there is a remaining balance, the Company will deduct the balance as a number retention fee at the prescribed rate.
    • 2.2 Prior to the first deduction, the Company shall provide the subscriber with at least three (3) days’ advance notice via SMS, application notification, or other electronic channels. The notification shall include the following details:
      • The applicable number retention fee rate;
      • The retention period per billing cycle; and
      • The method for declining or canceling the service.
    • 2.3 The subscriber has the right to decline participation in the service prior to the first deduction through the channels designated by the Company.
    • 2.4 If the subscriber does not decline within the specified notification period, the Company may proceed with the deduction of the number retention fee in accordance with the regulations of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC).
  3. Service Fee and Billing Period
    • 3.1 The Company shall charge a number retention fee at the rate of THB 3 per 30-day period.
    • 3.2 The fee shall be automatically and continuously deducted for a maximum period of 180 consecutive days from the service commencement date, or in accordance with the criteria prescribed by the NBTC from time to time.
    • 3.3 Upon reaching the maximum retention period, if the subscriber has not taken any action to extend the service validity period, the mobile number will enter the service suspension process and other applicable procedures in accordance with NBTC regulations.
  4. Subscriber’s Right to Cancel the Service
    • 4.1 The subscriber has the right to cancel the number retention service without any cancellation fee.
    • 4.2 Cancellation must be made on a per-notification basis after receiving the relevant notice. If the subscriber has successfully canceled the service and subsequently undertakes any activity resulting in an extension of the remaining service validity period by more than three (3) days, such cancellation shall be deemed terminated for that billing cycle. Should the subscriber wish to cancel again, a new cancellation request must be submitted.
    • 4.3 The Company shall notify the cancellation procedure via SMS, application notification, or other designated channels.
    • 4.4 Upon successful cancellation, the Company shall cease charging the service fee from the subsequent billing cycle.
    • 4.5 Service fees already charged for a completed billing cycle are non-refundable.
  5. Amendments
    This service is subject to modification in accordance with applicable regulations prescribed by the NBTC.
