The act of registering, selling, renting, or lending SIM cards on behalf of others may be part of criminal “SIM mule” schemes is strictly prohibited under Thai law.
Opening a SIM for someone else = Using your name for crime
It’s illegal and you can go to jail.
Don’t take money to open SIM cards for others.
