The 9777 scam number reporting service allows True and dtac customers to quickly report suspicious phone numbers and links via USSD or MMS. The information will be forwarded to the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) for verification, and harmful numbers will be blocked from contacting users.

This is a basic service provided free of charge to all True and dtac customers. No additional fees apply.

You can report suspicious numbers from True, dtac, as well as other networks.

You can use either a True or dtac number to make a report.

You need to report the suspicious number before 6:00 PM each day to receive a response within 24 hours.

No, that method only works for the most recent answered call. However, you can report the number by dialing *9777* followed by the number you wish to report # and pressing call.

Reported numbers must first be reviewed and confirmed as scam-related by the police (CIB and CCIB) before being blocked. If a number is deemed suspicious based on official criteria, it will be included in a warning through True CyberSafe Alert.

If the reported number does not exceed the complaint threshold set by the police (CIB and CCIB), it will not be blocked. The number will still be able to make calls to True users as usual.

The system will send the most recent answered call. If you want to report a specific suspicious number and more than 5 minutes have passed, please use the USSD code *9777* followed by the number you wish to report # instead.

Blocking is enforced at the network level, so blocked numbers cannot call any True customers across the network.

This is because different groups of numbers have varying criteria. Numbers that are easier to verify are blocked faster than those requiring more complex checks. Additionally, final decisions must be approved by the Central Investigation Police, which may result in some numbers not being blocked.
