Set up Wireless on AP Xplor RE1200R4GC-2T2R-V3

  1. Log in to configure AP, type 192.168.2.1 then press Enter
    • User : admin
    • Password : enter letters from picture (if it’s not clear, click at picture, it’ll change but will be the same code)
  2. Set up Wireless 5G : go to Setting > Wireless 5G
    • Wireless Setting
      • Status : select ON to enable, select OFF to disable
      • SSID : enter Wireless name
      • Broadcast SSID : select Enable when want to display SSID name, select Disable when want to hide SSID name
      • Wireless Mode : select as per device, default is enable all
      • Channel Width : combine Channel for more width: 20MHz=1CH, 40MHz=2CH, 80MHz=3CH (if device doesn’t support combined channel, it’ll get only 1CH)
      • Channel = select Channel, default is Auto (when AP is turned off-on, it will auto choose the best channel)
      • Press SAVE AND REBOOT LATER, AP will save but not reboot or SAVE AND REBOOT NOW , AP will save and reboot immediately
    • Security :  Setting > Wireless 5G > Security
      • WPA-Mixed
      • Disable :
      • WEP
      • WPA2
      • WPA
    • Access Control : set up to limit Wireless 5G usage, go to Setting > Wireless 5G > Access Control
    • WPS
    • Wireless Site Survey : to search for nearby Wireless 5G
    • Active Client
  3. Set up Wireless 2.4G : Setting > Wireless 2.4G
    • Wireless Setting
      • Status : select ON to enable, select OFF to disable
      • SSID : enter Wireless name
      • Broadcast SSID :  select Enable when want to display SSID name, select Disable when want to hide SSID name 
      • Wireless Mode : select as per device, default is enable all
      • Channel Width : combine Channel for more width: 20MHz=1CH, 40MHz=2CH, 80MHz=3CH (if device doesn’t support combined channel, it’ll get only 1CH)
      • Channel = select Channel, default is Auto (when AP is turned off-on, it will auto choose the best channel)
      • Press SAVE AND REBOOT LATER, AP will save but not reboot or SAVE AND REBOOT NOW , AP will save and reboot immediately
    • Security : Setting > Wireless 2.4G > Security

    • WPS
    • Wireless Site Survey : : to search for nearby Wireless 2.4G
