Set Mac Filter on HUAWEI HG8247W5

Log In Configuration page

  1. Type 192.168.1.1 and press Enter
  2. User Name = admin
  3. Password = enter letter shown in Default Password
  4. press Log In
  5. There's 2 types of settings:

Set only connected device via Wi-Fi

  1. At Status, select Advanced Configuration
  2. Select Wi-Fi Mac Address Filtering
  3. Set up as follows:
    • Enable WLAN MAC Filter : click a check
    • Filter Mode : choose Mode 
    • Blacklist : Not allow
    • Whitelist : Allow to use
    • press New
  4. Set up as follows:
    • SSID Index : choose SSID to set up
    • SSID1 : 2.4 GHz
    • SSID5 : 5 GHz
    • Source MAC Address : enter MAC Address of device
    • press Apply
  5. To delete, click a check at device > press Delete > OK to confirm deletion

Configuration to all devices

  1. At Status, select Advanced Configuration
  2. Select MAC Address Filtering
  3. Set up as follows:
    • Enable MAC Filter : click a check
    • Filter Mode : choose Mode
    • Blacklist : Not allow
    • Whitelist : Allow to use
    • press New
  4. Set up as follows:
    • Source MAC Address : enter MAC Address of device 
    • press Apply
  5. To delete, click a check at device > press Delete > OK to confirm deletion
