Other Setup on LINKSYS VELOP P-WHW0303

Log In

  1. Open App Linksys > press Log in
  2. Enter Email Address and Password and press Log In to access App main page

Set up Wi-Fi

  1. On main page, tap Menu (3 lines sign) > select Wi-Fi Settings
  2. WiFi setup page
    • Wi-Fi Name : name Wi-Fi 
    • Wi-Fi Password : set the password contains 8 characters up
    • tap Save

Check device connected to node

  1. Dashboard page, tap Devices (sign showing number of device)
  2. This page will show number of connected device, network level, node name. To check each device information, tap that device
  3. Device information connected to node : Network name (using band), Node name that device is connecting to, IP Address obtained from node, Mac Address of device

Check node information

  1. On main page, tap Menu (3 lines sign) > select Velop Administration 
  2. Main Node : first row is main node > tap node name > it'll show node information
    • Node name
    • Serial number
    • Model number
    • Firmware version
    • IP Address of node (Default Gateway)
    • IP that node obtained from Router
  3. Node 2 : select node 2 > 
    • Node name
    • Serial number
    • Model number
    • Firmware version
    • IP Address of node (Default Gateway) : this node connects to which node 

Forward Port

  1. At main page, tap Menu (3 lines sign)
  2. Select Advanced Settings > Port Settings
  3. And then Single Port Forwarding
  4. Select Add a rule
  5. Set up Port Forwarding as follows:
    • Rule : slide a button to enable function
    • Enter any name e.g. DVR1
    • External Port : enter Port of device (normally like Internal Port) 
    • Internal Port : enter Port of device
    • Device IP Address : enter IP of device to forward Port
    • Protocol : choose as per usage type (if not sure, choose UDP and TCP)
    • Tap Save to record the values
