Bangkok, July 20th 2026 – True Corporation in collaboration with Sripatum University is advancing the nationwide “AI for All Thais” initiative through the “True x Google Presents: AI for All Thais, Gemini Academy at Sripatum University” event, held at Bualuang Grand Room, Sripatum University. The program aims to provide students with practical, accessible, and future-ready AI learning experiences.
The event marks another significant milestone in transforming the national AI for All Thais initiative from a strategic collaboration among True, Google, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), and leading universities across Thailand into hands-on AI education at the university level. Sripatum University is among the first institutions to launch the Gemini Academy training program, preparing students for the AI-driven workforce of the future.

Bringing Gemini Academy to Sripatum University represents the next step in translating our national vision into practical action, enabling students to learn, experiment with, and apply AI creatively, responsibly, and effectively for their own future and for Thailand.
Under the concept of ‘AI First Citizens,’ Gemini Academy has been designed as an experiential learning program that allows students to gain hands-on experience with Generative AI through interactive workshops, complemented by online learning modules covering AI Literacy and AI Safety. The curriculum provides a comprehensive understanding of AI—from using AI effectively and crafting high-quality prompts to understanding safety, ethics, and responsible AI practices.”
At Sripatum University, the program will be delivered across 13 training sessions, reaching more than 9,100 students. The initiative aims to make AI education accessible beyond technical specialists, empowering students from diverse disciplines with essential digital skills for the future workforce.

Beyond university training, the AI for All Thais initiative also aims to build Thailand’s AI ecosystem through collaboration among the private sector, technology leaders, government agencies, and educational institutions. Together, they are creating a comprehensive AI learning pathway from foundational knowledge for beginners to advanced skills aligned with the evolving demands of the digital economy.
As part of the initiative, True is also offering 7–24-year-old students 10GB of free mobile data for 30 days to support online learning. The company plans to continue expanding Gemini Academy to universities nationwide. During July, the program will be introduced at Sripatum University, Assumption University, and King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), before expanding to 22 additional universities across Thailand within the year, broadening access to AI education for Thai students nationwide.
Looking ahead, the initiative will introduce the AI for Future Workforce program—a 45-hour AI curriculum jointly developed by True and Google. The program is designed for integration into university curricula and will be eligible for academic credit. It will also include AI competitions that provide students with opportunities to demonstrate their skills through real world applications while gaining exposure to international experiences.
This collaboration represents far more than a technology training program. It lays a strong foundation for empowering Thailand’s next generation to use AI intelligently, creatively, and responsibly, equipping them to become key drivers of the country’s digital economy and enhancing Thailand’s competitiveness on the global stage.
