Bangkok, 22 June 2026 – Following the Football Association of Thailand’s announcement of a proposed resolution to financial obligations arising from a past dispute, and the agreement reached among all relevant parties, Cineplex, a True Corporation affiliate, as one of the related contractual parties, is pleased to support the agreed approach for the benefit of all parties and to enable the continued development of Thai football with stability.
Under the agreed framework, the Association will assume responsibility for settling the debt on behalf of Siam Sport PCL to Cineplex, with an aggregate value of THB 240 million. The settlement will be structured in two parts: the granting of benefits related to the exclusive broadcasting of Thai national football team matches through OTT, IPTV and Pay TV across all platforms operated by companies within True Group, together with related marketing benefits, for a four-year period from 2026 to 2029 to Cineplex; and cash installment payments.
