Pathum Thani, June 30, 2026 – In an age when technology is driving rapid change, and the skills required by the labor market may no longer be the same, preparing the new generation must be elevated toward learning driven by data, technological innovation, and human understanding… With this shared vision, True Corporation, together with Bangkok University through the School of Communication Arts, launched “BU be TRUE: The Future Takes Off Together”, a collaboration to create a future learning model aimed at connecting the university and the private sector to nurture the new generation into Future Leaders, leaders who create change equipped with Creative-AI upskilling, who understand people and business, learn while applying technology responsibly, possess creativity, and are ready to create value for organizations and society sustainably in the AI-era workplace.

From MOU to Future Talent Incubation Journey

Under the concept Learn – Work – Create – Innovate, the BU be TRUE project is designed as a learning journey that takes students beyond the classroom, strengthens them with diverse skills, and leads them to real industry experience through five key processes: decoding human understanding (Human Decode); integrating essential skills (Skill Fusion), including storytelling, AI literacy, digital tools, business thinking, and communication ethics; working on real industry challenges (Real Challenge Lab); testing, receiving guidance, and improving (Test, Mentor & Improve); and building on this toward career pathways (Launch to Career). The program opens opportunities for the business sector to take part in developing a Future Workforce with skills that meet the needs of the future world of work and promotes the responsible use of AI and creativity, in order to nurture students into graduates who understand people, technology, and business, and who can truly create value for people in society.

Asst. Prof. Sansern Milindasuta, Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs of Bangkok University said that “Bangkok University and True share a key common ground, the belief in creating innovation and developing creative people to be ready for the future. This is because learning in the world of education alone may not be sufficient for the changes that are actually occurring in the industrial world. The BU be TRUE collaboration is therefore an important step in connecting the university with the business sector, enabling students to work on real projects, learn from real challenges, and develop their own potential while creating economic and social value for the country”.

Khun Oliver Kittipong Veeratacha, Chief Brand Officer of True Corporation Plc. said that “True Corporation believes in the potential and power of the new generation, who will grow into Future Leaders, leaders who will create real change. As Thailand’s leader in telecommunications and technology, True is committed to elevating its role from Connectivity Provider to Enabler of Possibilities, not only connecting people through technology, but also opening doors of opportunity for the new generation. Technology can truly have meaning only when it is applied to drive value for people, society, and the country sustainably. The collaboration with Bangkok University in the BU be TRUE project is a bridge of opportunity for students to learn how work is done and gain hands-on experience, hone their skills, and apply AI technology and innovation to create value across the entire business value chain. With its complete digital infrastructure and end-to-end digital ecosystem, True is ready to open a space for the new generation to turn creativity into innovative use cases that create impact and can be further developed in real ways. The modern world needs Future Leaders with vision, courage to think, courage to act, and readiness to handle every change, so that we can help drive Thailand forward together.”

Meanwhile, Khun Sarinra Wongsuppaluk, Chief Human Resources Officer of True Corporation Plc., said that “True Corporation recognizes the importance of developing the new generation to grow into Future Talent who are ready to cope with the rapidly changing world of work. True has continuously implemented various projects to build the Future Workforce, and the BU be TRUE project this time is another important platform that opens opportunities for students to learn from real challenges and business contexts, while applying knowledge from the classroom to real practice, which is an important foundation for growing into a high-potential Future Workforce. True is committed to opening a space for students to learn about the world of work and turn experiences into skills that can truly be used in the future, especially in an era when AI will be an important tool for enhancing human potential. However, the heart remains human skills, including critical thinking, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and reasoned decision-making. No matter how far technology advances, humans remain the ones who define direction, frame the questions, and truly create value.”

Hearing Reflections from Future Talent, from the Classroom to the Real World of Work

At the panel discussion “Bridging Education and Industry for Future Talent,” Naoka Kurashige, a fourth-year student at the School of Communication Arts, Bangkok University, shared her experience, saying, “Having the opportunity to intern at True was an important opportunity that enabled me to step from the classroom into the real world of work. I learned about Brand Communication, the overall picture of the business, thinking processes, and real challenges within a large organization. Throughout the internship period, I came to understand that communications work requires creativity, strategy, and customer understanding, together with hands-on practice and the ability to receive guidance and apply it to develop work that better meets the objectives. This experience helped sharpen my way of thinking, broaden my perspective, and make my career path clearer, both in terms of the skills required, ways of working, and areas I need to continue developing. True is therefore not merely a place to intern, but a space that opens opportunities to discover my own potential and build on it toward real work in the future.”
