Bangkok, October 2, 2026 – As continued heavy rainfall and flooding across several areas of Bangkok affect communities with high water levels and travel disruption, True Corporation continues its “True for Thai People” mission, extending assistance, easing the impact on affected communities and standing alongside people throughout the crisis.

Most recently, Charoen Pokphand Group, led by Suphachai Chearavanont, Senior Vice Chairman of Charoen Pokphand Group and Chairman of True Corporation Plc, together with True executives including Manat Manavutiveth, Chief Customer Experience & Retail Officer; Sharad Mehrotra, Chief Consumer Business Officer; and Tanaphon Manavutiveth, Chief Home Connectivity Officer, along with True employees, visited Lat Krabang District, one of the areas affected by flooding. The team delivered relief bags to affected residents and communities, set up charging points at 7-Eleven stores, and provided True and dtac SIM cards to support communications during the flooding.

The visit is part of the ongoing “True for Thai People” mission to support people during times of crisis, from providing daily essentials to maintaining communications so that people can stay in contact with their families, access essential information and coordinate assistance. True continues to stand alongside affected communities as they navigate the ongoing situation.

Standing with Communities and Maintaining Communications in Flood-Affected Areas

Alongside community assistance, True continues to mobilize network engineering and field teams to maintain network operations across affected areas, with 24-hour monitoring of network conditions. Teams are also inspecting home internet equipment in communities where floodwaters have receded to restore services to normal as quickly as possible.

In the Rom Klao Housing Community in Lat Krabang District, which has been affected by flooding, True has brought in two Cell-On-Wheel (COW) mobile base stations at two locations within the community to strengthen network readiness and capacity. The additional network support enables residents to stay connected while supporting the operations and relief coordination of officials and agencies working in the area.

24-Hour Customer Support

True continues to have network engineers, network specialists and customer service teams available to provide assistance and advice to customers around the clock. True customers affected by the flooding or seeking additional information can contact True at 1242, while dtac customers can call 1678, 24 hours a day.
