True & dtac Thailand Tourist SIM Terms and Conditions

 

These Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) govern the use of True & dtac Thailand Tourist SIM services (“the Service”) provided by True Corporation Public Company Limited (“the Company”). By purchasing and using the Service, you agree to comply with the following terms.

  1. Service Eligibility
    • The Service is intended for individual tourists visiting Thailand and is available only for devices supporting 5G, 4G, or 3G on designated frequencies provided by the Company.
    • The SIM must be registered with a valid passport in compliance with NBTC regulations (maximum 3 SIMs per person per brand).
  2. Service Inclusions
    Depending on the selected Tourist SIM package, benefits may include:
    1) Thailand Tourist INFINITE SIM
    • Unlimited mobile internet via 5G/4G/3G/EDGE/GPRS at maximum available speed.
    • Free WiFi access via designated SSIDs:
      • True: .@TRUEWIFI or .@truemoveH
      • dtac: @ dtac wifi or @ dtac wifi auto
    • Free local calls to all Thai networks (up to 15 minutes per call; beyond this, out-of-bundle rates apply).
    • Free international call credit:
      • True: 100 Baht via 00600
      • dtac: 30 minutes to China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, India, South Korea, Vietnam via 00400
    • Special international call rates starting from 1 Baht/minute:
      • True: via 00600
      • dtac: via 00400

    2) Thailand Tourist SIM
    • Non-stop mobile internet via 5G/4G/3G/EDGE/GPRS under Fair Usage Policy (FUP).
    • Free WiFi access via designated SSIDs.
    • Free local calls (benefits vary by package).
    3) Data-Only Tourist SIM
    For Data-Only Tourist SIMs, voice services are disabled.
    • Supported services: Data usage (3G/4G/5G), voice receiving, SMS & MMS receiving.
    • Not supported services: Outgoing calls (except call center/emergency numbers: 1242, 1678, 191, 1669, 112), SMS/MMS outgoing, VoWiFi.
  3. Out-of-Bundle Usage
    • Benefits are valid within Thailand only.
    • Prepaid international roaming is not included.
    • Usage beyond the package entitlements will follow:
      • The default prepaid plan, or
      • The current promotional offer.

  5. Balance and Package Status
    • Dial the USSD code specified on your SIM packaging.

    • The maximum prepaid credit per SIM is 5,000 Baht
  6. SIM Validity Rules
    • All Tourist SIMs must follow the package validity shown on the SIM packaging, and the validity must not exceed 60 days.
    • SIM validity cannot be extended via top-up after expiry.
    • To continue using the service after expiry, customers must re-identify with a passport at any True dtac Shop or contact the Call Center: 1242 (True) / 1678 (dtac).
  7. General Conditions & Prohibited Use
    The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Service without prior notice in case of the following:
    • Use of the SIM for commercial purposes, resale, automation, or redistribution.
    • Connecting unauthorized devices or systems that interfere with the network.
    • Involvement in fraudulent activities, such as:
      • Using forged or misleading documents for registration.
      • Attempting unauthorized SIM activation.
      • Violating applicable laws (e.g. Computer Crime Act B.E. 2550).
    • Use of the Service in any manner that harms the Company’s network or affects other users.
    The Company may monitor usage and take appropriate action to ensure service quality and network integrity.
  8. Service Limitations
    • Internet speed and performance may vary depending on:
      • Network coverage
      • Number of active users
      • Device compatibility
      • Environmental or technical factors
    • Maximum advertised speeds are not guaranteed at all times.
  9. Changes to Terms
    • The Company may amend, suspend, or cancel these T&Cs for regulatory, legal, operational, or commercial reasons.
    • Unless otherwise required by law, at least 30 days’ advance notice will be provided via appropriate communication channels.
