Set up Access Point for AP TP-Link Archer C9

Equipment setting

  1. Connect Wireless to device
  2. Wireless: turn off main modem
  3. Connect LAN cable from main modem to Internet port behind AP TP-Link Archer C9
  4. Turn on main modem
  5. Turn on AP TP-Link Archer C9 (because AP TP-Link Archer C9 has set Access Point mode from the factory. If correctly connected, it’ll be ready to use right away)

Check the settings

  1. Type 192.168.0.1 in the Address bar on Browser and press Enter, Username = admin, Password = admin then press Login
  2. Quick Setup
    • Region and Time zone
      • Region : can't change
      • Time zone : select Bangkok, Jakarta, Hanoi
      • Once finished, press Next
    • WAN Connection Type
      • Select Dynamic IP
      • Once finished, press Next
    • Select Do NOT clone Mac Address and press Next
    • Wireless Settings
      • Wireless 2.4GHz, 5GHz : select ON
      • Network Name(SSID) : enter name as desired
      • Password : set password using 8 characters up (for Wireless Quick Setup, it’ll be encrypted by WPA/WPA2 Personal)
      • Once finished, press Next
    • Summary : It’s the summary of settings that we selected, press Save
    • Test Your Connection
      • Press Test Internet Connection, Detecting process for a while and then Success
      • Once completed, press Finish
    • After Quick Setup, screen will return to Network Map
