Sustainability

Social Impact & Economic Contribution

Amid the rapid transformation of digital technology and persistent social inequality, a key challenge is transitioning from traditional social project implementation toward the creation of sustainable and truly measurable Creating Shared Value (CSV) at scale. The strategy to drive positive social impact focuses on three key areas:

1. Cultivating Knowledge: Key Initiatives include:

1) Autism Capacity and Quality of Life Development Project
True, in partnership with the Autism Thai Foundation, leverages digital technology and innovation to enhance access to education, skills development, and career opportunities for individuals with autism and their families through the Autism Digital Learning Center. Key support includes digital applications, vocational training, and structured employment pathways.
2) Online Awareness Project
True collaborates with public and private sector partners to deliver online awareness initiatives, including on-site edutainment programs and the development of online safety content to raise awareness and prevent online scams and cyber threats among students, teachers, and communities.

2. Cultivating  Virtues: Major initiatives include:

1) Sam Neuk Rak Ban Kerd Project
True, in collaboration with the Ruam Duay Chuay Kan Samneuk Rak Ban Kerd Foundation, implements an annual farmer selection program to advance Thai agriculture into the digital era by integrating local wisdom with technology and innovation. The initiative aims to enhance product value, strengthen competitiveness, and promote sustainable organic agriculture.
2) True ASA (True Volunteer Club)
Established by employees, the club drives social sustainability by leveraging True’s technological capabilities and staff expertise to support communities and vulnerable groups. Key activities include educational support and rapid disaster relief.

3. Cultivating Love for the Environment: Major initiatives include:

1) Elephant Smart Early Warning Project
True, in collaboration with the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation and WWF Thailand, integrates 5G, AI, and IoT technologies to develop the “True Smart Early Warning System” (TSEWS). The initiative supports peaceful coexistence between communities and wildlife by enabling timely alerts and response, significantly reducing damage to crops and property.
2) Thai Sarus Crane Conservation Project
True, in collaboration with partners, supports the restoration and conservation of the Thai sarus crane in Buriram Province. The project also promotes environmentally friendly organic farming practices that help restore natural habitats and feeding grounds for the cranes.
