Check SIM Registration Status Easily via *165*6#. No Further Action Required if Information Is Complete
True and dtac customers can check their SIM registration status free of charge by dialing *165*6#. The system will display one of three possible statuses:
- Complete information and documents: No further action is required, and customers can continue using their mobile numbers as usual.
- Incomplete information or documents: Customers can update their registration information through True App or visit a True Shop or dtac Shop for assistance.
- Documents under review: Customers can wait for the verification results and check their status again. There is no need to resubmit information unless they receive further instructions.
Convenient and Secure Registration Updates Through True App
Customers notified that their registration information requires updating can complete the process through True App by following these steps:
- Log in to True App: Open True App and select the “Update Registration Documents” menu.
- Enter registration details: Select the appropriate identification document, a Thai national ID card for Thai citizens or a passport for foreign nationals, and provide the required information.
- Verify identity via OTP: Enter the one-time password (OTP) received via SMS to verify access to the service.
- Review registration information: The system will display the registered mobile numbers and their document statuses, allowing customers to identify which information requires updating.
- Complete electronic identity verification: Capture an image of the original identification document and complete facial verification through the electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) and Liveness Detection processes.
- Review and submit information: Check the accuracy of personal information before confirming and submitting it for verification.
After submitting their information, customers can wait for the verification results, which may take approximately seven days, and subsequently check their registration status again by dialing *165*6#.
Customers who are unable to update their information through True App can visit a True Shop or dtac Shop with the original identification document used to register their mobile number. Store representatives will provide guidance and assistance throughout the required process.
