Set up DDNS on HUAWEI HG8122

Login steps 

  1. Login first time : type 192.168.1.1 at Browser and press Enter
    • Account : admin
    • Password : password
    • Validate Code : enter letters shown below, if they’re not clear, press Refresh to change them
    • press Login
  2. Page to change Password, with following conditions:
    • Password : should contain at least 6 letters
    • Comply with at least 2 from 4 combinations: number, lowercase letter, uppercase letter and special characters e.g. ` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - _ = + \ | [ { } ] ; : ' " < , . > / ?.
    • Should not repeat with any word in Username
    • press Apply
  3. Go back to Login page, enter information
    • Account : admin
    • Password : enter the Password 
    • Validate Code : enter letters shown below, if they’re not clear, press Refresh to change them
    • press Login
  4. If passed first time Login : type 192.168.1.1 at Browser and press Enter
    • Account : admin
    • Password : enter the Password 
    • Validate Code : enter letters shown below, if they’re not clear, press Refresh to change them
    • press Login

Setup DDNS

  1. Network Application > DDNS Configuration > press New
    • Enable DDNS : click a check mark
    • Domain Name : enter Domain registered with service provider
    • Service Provider : choose using brand
    • Host of the service provider : base on Service Provider, do not change
    • Service Port : base on Service Provider, do not change
    • User/Password : enter User/Password of host registered with Service Provider
    • Press Apply to save the setting
  2. After saving, setup information will show in a table
  3. To delete setup Profile : click a check mark in front of Profile that want to delete > press Delete > a pop up to confirm deletion, press OK
