Change Password to access Configuration Page of HUAWEI HG8247W5

  1. Type 192.168.1.1 and press Enter, User Name = admin / Password = enter letters as shown in Default Password then press Log In
  2. Go to Advanced Configuration > System Management > Account Management
    • Old Password : enter old password
    • New Password : enter new password
    • Confirm Password : enter new password
    • when finished, press Confirm
  3. Conditions to set Password
    • Should contain at least 6 characters
    • contain at least two of the following combinations:
      • have digits
      • have uppercase letter
      • have lowercase letter
      • have special character e.g. ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - _ = + \ | [ { } ] ; : '
    • Cannot be any “user name” or “user name” in reverse order
