How to switch off autoplay Video on Facebook for Smartphone

For iOS

  1. Go to Facebook App, select More
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select Account Settings
  4. Select Videos and Photos
  5. At VIDEO SETTINGS, select Autoplay
  6. You can select to play video as follows:
    -  On Mobile Data and Wi-Fi Connections: auto play video when connected to mobile internet or Wi-Fi connection
    -  On Wi-Fi Connections Only: auto play video every time of Wi-Fi connection only
    -  Never Autoplay Videos: not auto play except the user selects to play video by himself

For Android

  1. Go to Facebook App, select More and then select App Settings
  2. Select Videos play automatically
  3. You can select to play video as follows:
    -  On: auto play video when connected to mobile internet or Wi-Fi connection
    -  Wi-fi only: auto play video every time of Wi-Fi connection only
    -  Off: not auto play except the user selects to play video by himself
