LAN Configuration on HUAWEI HG8247W5

  1. Type 192.168.1.1 then press Enter, User Name = admin / Password = enter letters as shown in Default Password and press Log In
  2. Select Advanced configuration
  3. Select LAN Configuration and set up as follows:
  4. LAN Host Configuration
    • Primary IP Address : set IP Address of Router
    • Primary Address Subnet Mask : set Subnet Mask of Router
    • when finished, press Apply
  5. DHCP Server Configuration
    • Enable Primary DHCP Server : tick a check to enable DHCP Server, to disable remove a check
    • Start IP Address : set Start IP Address for Router to distribute to connected device (must be same cycle number of Router’s IP Address)
    • End IP Address : set End IP Address for Router to distribute to connected device
    • Lease Time : lease time to clear IP Address for Router to distribute to other connected device
